My Dear Daughter,
As your search for the perfect companion progresses, you will endure joy and heartbreak. It is the way life works. Sure, you can refuse to open your heart, but then you choose to merely exist rather than live. I cannot protect you from heartbreak but I can hopefully offer you advice that helps you select a better man.
A man who chooses to shave with a straight blade is a very different man. I do not wish to say a better or worse man, but simply a different man. He has a certain way of life, a perspective that makes him different from the lot. Upon meeting him you will recognize the following characteristics that seem to be commonplace for this type of man.
There is a chance the SOB could be a serial killer, but more than likely he is a man of discipline. It could be said that this man will opt to pave his own path rather than take the easy way. His unconventional way of thinking is apparent immediately. He will be well groomed and from a more privileged position. He tends to appreciate the arts, food and drink on an elevated level. The meditative practice of using a straight blade makes him equanimous and in touch with his true self.
Do not be mislead by this calm exterior, because a beast lurks within this type of man. In a sea of basic breeds, there are a few that are worthy of your attention. Keep your eyes open, many a charlatan but you will know this man is for real once you confirm his use of a straight blade.
